Programme Overview

JD Williams is the leading direct home shopping company, operating over 30 successful catalogue brands, with over 2 million customers.

Our websites offer a huge selection of clothing and other products for all ages and sizes. All our clothes are designed to provide the best fit at the best possible value, and we are specialists in the area of larger size womenswear.

By signing up to the JD Williams Group programme, you will have access to promote not just one site but 17 of the JD Williams catalogues available through the affiliate channel.

Commission Structure

Commission
£8 for new customer sales
£4 where a new customer sale is made on PPC but where affiliates have played a part
1% of basket value for existing customers

The JD Williams Group programme provides affiliates with the opportunity to earn £8 commission for New Customer sales, £4 where a new customer sale is made on PPC but where affiliates have played a part and 1% of basket value for Existing Customers sales.

JD Williams Feed

We are delighted to announce that we now have a fantastic feed in place for the JD Williams catalogue under the JD Williams campaign.

This feed has been created by the feed specialists FusePump and this will allow affiliates to access the feed which includes the fields:

  • colour
  • size
  • best sellers
  • sale items
  • was/now price

We have already had great feedback from a few affiliates who have tested the feed with us and we would also love to hear your feedback.

Picking up the feed:

In order to pick up the feed you will need to:

  • log in to your dgmPro account
  • select the data feed tab
  • choose from your data feed options
    1. full JD Williams XML feed
    2. dgmPro XML feed
    3. dgmPro CSV feed

If you have previously been using the feed that was available for the campaign the links will still work, however it will no longer be available from the interface.

Terms & Conditions

Affiliate Approvals

To join this campaign you will need to apply and then be accepted by the JD Williams account manager. Affiliate approvals are carried out 2-3 times a week, an e-mail will be sent to you once you have been accepted / rejected from the program.

Incentive / Loyalty / Cash Back Affiliates

Incentive / Loyalty / Cash Back Affiliates are permitted to promote the JD Williams brand and all their catalogues. However, please contact the dgm account manager matthew.swan@dgm-uk.com if you would undertake this type of promotion and would like to be accepted onto the JD Williams program.

URL Restrictions

Affiliates are permitted to use the JD Williams brand terms as an extension of their own URL.

For example: www.affiliatecompany.com/jdwiliams

Affiliates are prohibited from using any of the JD Williams brand terms, brand term misspelling or similar variations in the main part of any URL domain names.

For example: www.jdwilliams.com www.ambrosewilson.co.uk www.simplybe.org etc

Brand Term Restrictions

No brand term bidding allowed without permission from JDW Affiliate Manager.

All JD Williams Brand and Catalogue terms should be applied as negative match or excluded terms on all keyword or keyword phrases for the purpose of targeting adverts on PPC search engines. This applies to all catalogues mentioned in the above list.

Affiliates are prohibited from brand bidding on misspells or variations of the JD Williams brands and catalogues.

Do not place your company name, trade marks, service marks, or product names next to (or combine them with) a JD Williams brand/product name.

Affiliates must negative match JD Williams and all of their catalogue brand names in any terms associated with voucher codes, discount codes and any other variations of these terms.

Landing Pages

Affiliates are prohibited from misleading consumers into their sites representing themselves or passing themselves off as being JD Williams or taking any action which is likely to confuse or mislead third parties to believe that the site is part of the JD Williams brand.

Direct Linking

Affiliates are prohibited from direct linking to any of the JD Williams catalogues in any search engine.

Deep Linking

Affiliates can deeplink on JD Williams like standard campaigns, by picking up a standard text link, adding &t= to the end and following it with the page that they wish to deeplink to.

Voucher Codes

Various voucher codes are available for affiliates to use which will entitle new customers only to discounts. For a full breakdown of the voucher codes that are available please see each catalogue listing (above). Please note that JD Williams are targeting new customer traffic primarily, which is why the voucher codes are only applicable to new customers.

Please note: The above conditions apply for all the brands individually as well the JD Williams brand as a whole.

Any breach of the above conditions will result in you being removed from the JD Williams program and excluded from all future campaigns.
